For Age 16+ The Course is for 4 weeks, one session per week. Course Start Date: 1. Oct 22 - every Tuesday @ 12:30pm - 1:30pm 2. Oct 22 - every Tuesday @ 1:30pm - 2:30pm 3. Oct 22 - every Tuesday @ 2:30pm - 3:30pm 4. Oct 23 - every Wednesday @ 12:30pm - 1:30pm 5. Oct 23 - every Wednesday @ 1:30pm - 2:30pm 6. Oct 23 - every Wednesday @ 2:30pm - 3:30pm - Geared toward people who enjoy singing but do not want to invest heavily in private coaching - They feel more comfortable being in a group as they might be shy to do 1-on-1 (max. 5 students per class) - The teacher selects songs after getting some feedback on what the group is interested in learning - Classes typically begin with vocal warm-ups, technical training, and working on a song delivery - Students will learn to apply the techniques learned in class to the song Instructor - Carmen Chu Carmen discovered her passion for singing at 9 and trained under one of Toronto's most renowned singing coaches. At 15, she began vocal classes with Christine Samson, boosting her vocal development and confidence. She competed in Toronto's top singing competitions and worked with local TV stations and corporate events. Carmen joined Parliament Music Group, performing for charities like World Vision and the Cancer Society, and was a backup vocalist for Hong Kong artist Jason Chan. In Hong Kong, she teaches students as a Brand Manager and Marketing Strategist. Carmen helps students develop their voice and confidence on stage, conducting classes in Cantonese and English across genres like R&B, Musical Theatre, Disney Songs, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Country. ***Class may be cancelled if insufficient enrolment, a full refund will be provided***
